I think Holliday and I had a really strong chemistry from the start and I just really enjoy working with her. She’s amazing and she has those great big eyes that you just want to stare into. [x]

I remember in season one, I had an argument with Neil because he didn’t want us to play any form of sexual tension. And I told him, that’s what you wrote … It’s definitely not just about sex. They’ve never found anybody else.

the thing that makes my heart burst in 3x03 is that when lucrezia calls cesare her husband that is literally the greatest expression of love she could give. lucrezia has never been able to truly choose her husband, she has always married primarily out of necessity and to serve her family’s political ambitions. so to say that she would choose cesare were she able is such a huge deal and you can see that it makes him so so happy to hear her say it because it’s the way he has felt for so long. that entire exchange and the magnitude of what is meant by it, it’s just beautiful and tragic and I’m never going to get over these two am I.

I will never love a husband as I do you, Cesare.
